BJ is 18 years old, born in July 1994. He is quite independent but very affectionate and likes to be around people when he is in the house. He will sit on you or next to you.
He has a healthy appetite and prefers Felix wet food pouches with some dry biscuits, twice a day. He also likes milk to drink occasionally.
He prefers to be out at night, except when it is very cold. He is litter trained.
He has always been the only pet in the house, but has lived in peace with cats and dogs in his previous neighbourhood.
He is neutered, his flu vacations are up-to-date, with the next one due December 2012. He has spent time in catteries, about 3-4 weeks a year during family holidays.
He has had no health problems, although a heart murmur was diagnosed 18 month ago. He is not taking medication and his health is not diminished in any way.
