Hello there! I am David Spalton, fundraising coordinator at Farnham & Wey Valley Cats Protection.
As a Cats Protection branch, run entirely by volunteers, we have to raise the vast majority of our funds ourselves. The branch homes around 300 cats and kittens every year, and every one of these felines receives all the veterinary care it needs (as a minimum including a preliminary vet check, plus vaccinations, neutering and microchipping as necessary).
We do our best to minimise costs where feasible (and some of the local vets are very kind to us in this respect) but this level of care, plus of course food, litter and everything else the cats need, takes a lot of money every single month.
This document helps you help us, by taking part in free offers that will raise us some money via EasyFundraising. EasyFundraising is a great way to help and support us simply by doing what you normally do. It doesn’t cost you anything extra.
First off, go to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/farnhamcats (or http://bit.ly/JrAfkP as an easy to type option).
From here, you can see the total that we have raised so far.
Once you are here, at the top, in yellow you will see ‘Register Now’. Clicking on it will give you an option to ‘Support a Cause’
Start to type ‘Farnham and Wey Valley Cats Protection’ and halfway through it will appear below your text box. All you need to do is click on it and you get the registration page. Simply fill in your details from here and press submit.
Once you are signed in, you can head to the ‘Find a Retailer’ option and start to shop.
When you find your retailer, click on the ‘Shop Now’ button and the click is verified so that anything you spend Farnham and Wey Valley Cats Protection will get a percentage of what you spend.
Buying Products
When you purchase something using a link you have clicked on from our EasyFundraising page, we will get a commission of your sale.
Some of the retailers specify a fixed amount, where as others will say a percentage of your sale.
Now, The BEST BIT!
There are several options here that you need to spend NOTHING on and we can get credit for the branch.

With the o2 free sim card offer, when you request it, we get a 50p donation. But if you activate it with £10 worth of credit, we get a further £2 donation. So £2.50 in total.

All you need to do is fill in the form, and click on send to get a free pay as you go sim card. In return we get a 50p donation.

The ToolBar
EasyFundraising also do a toolbar that you can install. This is simply a bit of software that runs with your Internet browser and will alert you when you are going to a shop where you can get money for Farnham & Wey Valley Cats Protection. Saves you doing all the legwork by searching for them!
