Alfie (previously known as Yin) has been with us just over two months now and has completely made himself at home. He spent the first few days hiding behind the sofa when anybody went near him, but as the days went by became more and more friendly.
He spent a day at the vets having his little ‘op’, but even that didn’t slow him down – as soon as he was home he was playing with his toys and tucking into his dinner.
He gets on really well with his older feline friend Archie, who’s 12. There was a bit of competition to show who was ‘Top Cat’, but Alfie has realised he is the new boy and cannot usurp Archie, so they get on fine.
Alfie now enjoys playing in the garden, climbing trees, and has made friends with two lady cats next door!! He loves cuddles and tickles, and spends the night curled up on the bed with one or the other of my two sons. They love it when Alfie leaves his toys on their beds as presents!!
He is a fantastic addition to our family and has firmly won a place in all our hearts.
